As many of you know, I am a big believer in quality skincare products, and taking good care of my skin. In addition to working out and eating clean, using the right products for your skin type is so important in maintaining clear, healthy and youthful looking skin.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the incredible experience of taking a trip to the south of France with one of my all-time favorite skincare brands, L’Occitane, to celebrate the Immortelle collection. It was such an honor to be a part of this trip as I have been using their products since I was in high school. My mom introduced me to L’Occitane, and I’ve been using their skincare products as a part of my daytime and nighttime regimen ever since.
After arriving in Corsica, France, we pulled up to one of the most majestic hotels I’ve ever been to, La Villa Calvi. The hotel overlooked a breathtaking view of Corsica. The weather was perfect, the sunset was incredible, and although we were super jet-lagged, we had to stay up for a romantic dinner in our hotel and to snap some quick photos of the property before heading to sleep and starting our day with L’Occitane the next morning.
THE NEXT DAYS IN CORSICA…
We started our morning visiting the nature park in Corsica. One of the coolest experiences during my trip to France with L’Occitane was that we learned so much history behind the brand and the products! We visited multiple farms that grow the plants that L’Occitane used to create some of their formulas. The relationship that L’Occitane has with its producers that provide the ingredients from their farms to the brand is truly incredible. I was blown away by the personal relationships that the brand builds with them, and how caring they are towards making a difference and making sure that it is a mutually beneficial partnership.
It was also really amazing to see how the labs in France operated and how they paid such close attention to detail of each of their skincare products. It’s so important to me that this brand contains clean high quality ingredients, and that so much testing is done (on human skin!) before the product is complete.
After a productive day learning about the L’Occitane brand, we had an incredible dinner at I Scalini, which overlooked all of Corsica and made me feel like I was on top of the world. It was such a beautiful place to have dinner, drink wine, and relax with the L’Occitane family, and made me appreciate how much France has to offer.
This trip taught me so much more about skincare and beauty regimens than I could have ever asked for. The new Immortelle collection offers an incredible range of products that hydrate and nourish your skin while providing magical anti-aging benefits. I’m currently loving the Immortelle Divine Eyes, as it’s the perfect way to hydrate and refresh under my eyes as soon as I wake up in the morning. All of the products from this line are super hydrating, while they also have a light consistency that feels super refreshing on your skin.
I prefer prepping my face for the day with a light facial mist to create a smooth, nourishing barrier between my skin and any makeup I decide to wear for the day. The L’Occitane facial mist is the perfect spray to prep your skin before applying something like foundation. I also sometimes use this spray to set my makeup in place, and it works like a charm.
Another amazing experience we got to have was flying in a hot air balloon around the South of France and seeing the beautiful country from the sky. To see where the brand originated from such a beautiful perspective was a dream, and I’ll never forget the experience I had with such an amazing group of people.
I would love to know how you take care of your skin and what good skincare means to you. I think it’s so important to have a solid skincare regimen and L’Occitane is a brand I highly recommend to add into your daily routine!
Overall, the trip with L’Occitane was a truly incredible experience, and I am forever grateful to be working with a brand that I genuinely love and use daily.
Thank you to L’Occitane for sponsoring this post.
